Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 13, 1913 by 22 collegiate women at Howard University. Their first public act was marching in the Women's Suffrage March in Washington D.C. Delta is a public service organization with over 350,000 members and more than 1,000 chapters worldwide.
